About the event
Traumatized patients often feel unsafe in their initial session. Telling their story can be overwhelming and make them not want to return to your office. Learn to obtain the information you need without dysregulating your patients! This workshop teaches clinicians how to keep patients in their Window of Tolerance using clear expectations, pacing, language, and psycho-education. Prioritize your patient’s nervous system over their story and effectively engage them in treatment.
