Social Gathering and Book Presentation

This social gathering will be an opportunity for trauma therapists and individuals dedicated to trauma therapy to come together and connect in a warm and supportive environment. Antonieta Contreras, a member of the NYCATT steering committee and a devoted trauma therapist, will be unveiling her new book:

Traumatization and Its Aftermath: A Systemic Approach to Understanding and Treating Trauma Disorders (Routledge, 2023)

Antonieta will share her journey of research, reflection, and firsthand experiences that have shaped the pages of this novel publication. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain an exclusive glimpse into the innovative approaches presented in the book, and engage in meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas about trauma.
